What you are supposed to do

A Business Intelligence Analyst designs and develops business intelligence and data management applications and systems using the SAP Business Objects platform. In this career, your responsibilities usually include designing and developing systems that convert raw data into usable reports. To do this, you analyze the needs of the company and the flow of data and operations. You then use your skills to design, test, document, and debug systems and solutions according to the specific needs of your employer or client. Your duties may also include training employees to use the tools or applications that you develop. As a Business Intelligence Analyst you are responsible for : Capture the information needs of various stakeholders for correct, customer-oriented output and this for various purposes; Technical implementation of the functional needs of the business partners with the tools SAP Business Objects (BI4.x) and SAP Business Objects Data Services (ETL); Develop, maintain and improve Business Reports, dashboards and scorecards; As a reporting expert, you offer the necessary support to the various business partners and help them to capture the relevant data; Both structurally and on an ad hoc basis, you can respond to typical information needs from different angles as well as from different stakeholders.
